A couple of auriculas in bloom; despite the heat

Several of my 'asbeau' auriculas are still producing blooms despite it being plus 31C; also a semi double seedling has started to bloom after being repotted. I water my auruculas more often in these very hot days to keep them just moist and keep them in a cool shady spot.

Auriculas on Stamps

Whilst browsing on ebay I found and bought these stamps which picture the wild Primula auricula. It's interesting to see the auricula pictured in it's natural rocky alpine location.

Asbeau, blooms again

Asbeau despite being newly divided has rebloomed, it's one of the few auriculas that I have that blooms almost all summer.
The blooms start out a light creamy yellow and change to a lilac colour the older they become./Ray
